Hello fellow riders, Chappy here.
The pictures posted here are of a dual-sport trip down in the mid-section of
the state of Coahuila, Mexico.
Much of my ministry includes visiting villages down many miles of gravel
roads. The dual-sport KLR 650 Kawasaki works well when you need to traverse
both surfaces. At the moment I don't have a dual-sport trip planned but
it's not for lack of desire, if you know what I mean!
As your Chaplain, you know that the main core of my religion as a Christian
minister is the theme of "Forgiveness".
I
need not tell you that you are a sinner and that you need forgiveness of
sin.
We somehow know this. However, too often it is necessary that someone
remind us to forgive an offense.
I recently became aware of a person that had been angry at me for 3-4
years. I wasn't aware of it and therefore the anger didn't affect me in any
way. The other person suffered this un forgiveness for years. The end
result to settle the matter was the revelation that the other person had
been told an untruth.
Someone was using my name against that person to tear them down.
It is said that 99% of all problems are from miscommunication or
misunderstandings. Too often we carry grudges like little children.
Jesus Christ said," For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses". The truth is
that many are loaded down with bitterness toward a family member, an old
business partner or ex-spouse. Some of these people are dead and gone, but
the one living still harbors bitterness. If that person has passed on, the
matter is between the one still living and God. But if that person, who
angered them, is still available, they should be the leader and make it
right for their own well being.
Keep the rubber side down.
