Blue Knights International was first organized in 1974, when a few friends from the Bangor / Brewer, Maine (U.S.A.) area decided to form a local recreational motorcycle club.  Within two years the small club had become an International organization.  Today, the Blue Knights have members in 27 countries.

Since the records were started in 1991, the amount of time, goods and cash donations have totaled more than $8,000.000.   The Blue Knights also join Law Enforcement personnel from all over the world in promoting a positive image for motorcyclists and motorcycle safety.
